1962 Hamilton Sea Rover II Vintage Men’s Watch Manual Wind Stainless - RUNNING

This is a rare vintage Hamilton Sea Rover II watch with a stainless steel case and brilliant white dial. It has been observed for several days and is keeping excellent time, running just a touch fast gaining about 3 seconds per day (exact time keeping accuracy not guaranteed). The reserve has been fantastic, keeping its wind for the entire observation period. It is a hand wound manual mechanical watch which will need to be wound every so often. The crown is aftermarket and the stem is a two piece "split" stem, and quite fragile but fully functional. The leather band is brand new and will fit almost any wrist, with a matching stainless steel buckle. The crystal is also brand new, while the case has light scratching on the bezel and a few larger scratches on the caseback. The dial has faint and evenly distributed patina spots giving this 63 year old timepiece its character. Service history is unknown, selling as-is and not accepting returns.
