2002 Thunderbird ‘Manage The Wait’ Promo Set- Incredibly Rare.
Shortly after the introduction of the 2002 Ford Thunderbird, and for early buyers who placed deposits on them, Ford created a special promotional set know as the ‘Manage the Wait’ set. The promotion was produced both to remind early buyers of the excitement on this new, 11th generation Thunderbird, and to ease the long waiting period from the initial announcement and actual production and delivery of the car. The package consisted of five individual boxes, each containing a different promotional item. Contents of this package included books, photos, decals, die cast models of the new Thunderbird, stainless steel ‘porthole’ style bookends, The complete set, when lined up together, created a stylized Thunderbird ‘Wings’ logo. Features the “Evening Black,” 1/25th die cast Thunderbird model.
