This is an American Girl Hopscotch Hill Gwen doll. The doll comes with its character book, Good Sport Gwen. The doll was manufactured by American Girl in 2004. The doll was retired in 2006. It is New Old Stock (NOS), new in the box (NIB), and has never been played with. Gwen is part of the line American Girl created under the sub-brand Hopscotch Hill School. She was one of the later dolls in the line. Her story is about being a top soccer player who learns about good sportsmanship. The doll is about 16 inches tall (slightly smaller than the main 18-inch American Girl dolls), has wigged hair (not rooted), painted eyes (rather than glass/perfect eyes), and jointed knees and arms.
