Adams Rite 4513-45-IB 4513 Standard Duty Deadlatch Body Only, Zinc Plated

The 4510 Series Standard Duty Deadlatch offers adaptable traffic control, both during and after business hours. By reversing the key's turn while the bolt is held back, it retains the bolt, enabling two-way traffic for various applications like healthcare, finance, retail, and more. These deadlatches can be interchanged with any MS1850S Deadlock of the same backset and faceplate shape, without stile modification. However, they may not provide the same peak security level as the MSDeadlock. To operate, simply turn the key or use the handle/paddle to retract the spring-loaded latchbolt. To keep the bolt retracted, push it in and secure with a reverse key turn. This lock is compatible with standard mortise cylinders featuring an MS cam, available separately. It accommodates cylinders from either or both sides.
