Rumors that the Karamatsu Shrine (Amahi Shrine) in Kyowa Town, Senboku District, Akita Prefecture, possessed ancient historical documents had already existed since before the war, and the shrine's Jinshin characters' Norito (Shinto prayer) were also published (Kawanosuke Obanai, "Explanation of the Futonorito of Amatsu Norito"). However, the historical documents were rarely made public, but finally, in 1984, due to the wise decision of Honorary Priest Terunaga Mononobe, their contents were released.
