This Victorian Civil War era antique cream net lace bed cap morning bonnet hat dates from the 1860s. It is made of a sheer fine off white cream color tulle net fabric, with Chantilly lace ruffle trim wired edging encircling the head and fabric pink roses. This lovely lace has been created into a boudoir bed cap morning bonnet hat with a muffin top cap style, attached Silk embroidery straps and is sheer, unlined. It is in good antique condition, with signs of age and wear. The elastic band is no longer elastic.This is truly a wonderful piece of antique early Victoriana lace art! Sold as is.
