I am selling this elegant vintage gravy boat made in Limoges, France by Haviland in the early 1900s (the backmark was used between 1894-1931). The pattern is Donhoff, a simple white porcelain design with gold trim.
This piece is a lidless gravy boat with an attached underplate, all with gold trim around the rim of the boat and the rim of the plate. There is also a single gold band around the base of the boat. It is in excellent condition for its age, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Very light surface scratches consistent with regular use.
