On offer is this uniquely beautiful Morimura Brothers Nippon serving bowl. It is hand-painted with gold details, both raised / beaded and flat. Gorgeous pheasant birds with purple and green plumage. A very colorful piece with greens, blues, yellows, reds, shades of purple and pink. Art deco era. Square shaped with scalloped corners. Antique circa 1911-1921.
This bowl is in excellent antique condition with minor wear consistent with age and purpose. There are no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9" square and is 2.25" tall.
