This is a rare and unique find. In amazing condition considering it is from the mid 1800’s. It has no markings I can find, but I had it checked and the casing tested gold filled and the little round disk you use to open and close the cutting mechanism tests sterling. The motif is truly beautiful, a serpent weaving in out with its jaws ready to strike.
