There are 0ne hundred seventy (170) cards in this group spanning the years 1971 to 1980. Each card is in ungraded/good condition showing normal wear. There are duplicates/multiples in this set. Please see the list of cards in the set and ask any questions (and for names of the other teams I have not yet listed). I will send detailed photographs of specific cards, if requested. This is my personal collection purchased with paper route money – it is time for others to enjoy it now. This card group contains all “Topps” cards, except for 1 (Hostess Twinkies 1977 Dick Ruthven #74 hand cut), which for many is the holy grail of baseball cards. In 1951 Topps sold chewing gum, but in 1952 they debuted baseball cards into a package with a stick of gum to boost sales. Baseball card collecting took off as a result and found its spot in American culture.
