Mart Nodell was the original creator of Green Lantern back in 1939/40, back in 1998 I met him at a mutual friends party that he happened to be attending where he so graciously drew and signed my book (no C.O.A.) capping off a wonderful conversation about the good old days of the comic industry(if you look, he has written 40 as the original inception year)!
