Gorgeous vintage B David mother’s crown brooch. Beautiful jewel tone rhinestones, accented with aurora borealis stones and faux pearls. Super sparkly stones and bright silver tone metal, marked B. David . Excellent vintage condition with no issues, and measures about 1 1/2 high and 2 wide.

History:
Mother’s Crown brooches were B David’s specialty. Also called Parent Crowns, these pins were typically presented as a gift to new mothers. The crystals in the crown were individually selected by the purchaser and therefore, no two are identical. The crystals selected often spelled the name of the child by using the first letter of the simulated gemstone. For example, a clear crystal would represent the letter D (diamond), a red crystal would represent the letter R (ruby), etc.
