This ball joint tool includes five different SAE standard pieces. Forks are designed to interchange with either of the handles, making it easy to remove standard-size ball joints, tie rods, and pitman arms from a variety of cars and light trucks.
The 45# steel used in these premium tie rod removers has been forged and heat treated for greater strength and durability, and chrome-plated surfaces protects them from corrosion, extending their service life.

The ball joint separator set includes: (1) Track rod fork 11/16”; (2) Ball joint fork 15/16”; (3) Pitman arm fork 1-1/8”; (4) 7-7⁄8 knurled striking handle for use with conventional hammers; (5) 6-31⁄32" adapter handle for use with air hammer. A greater reach and penetration in places where space is limited and difficult to access.
