Border along all four sides with a center motif of birds and other figures. Long sides are selvage, ends are hemmed.
Would make a great tablecloth as is, or fashion it into a sarong or other garment.
Batik dyed at Rara Djonggrang in the Yogyakarta region on the Indonesian island of Java. This name Rara Djonggrang is batik dyed into one edge.
The 100% cotton fabric was apparently made in Hong Kong. This marking shows on only one side.
Measures 100” x 53”. Age unknown. Good condition, never used.
