The slip joint releases only with a push of a button, so you can confidently "pre-set" the jaws to the range you need. No matter how far you open the jaws, the adjustment will not release until you press the button again. A textured PVC coating gives you a secure grip on the handles. Semi-rounded, serrated jaws allow the pliers to grip anything from pipe to sheet metal to hex nuts. 7 1/16" (180mm) overall length, 0 to 1 3/16" (0-30mm) jaw opening range. This 1047/180 is the smallest in the 1047 Series.
