This is a re-release of the サーモント (Sirmont) style from BJ Classic.
The color is Black-Gold.
I fell in love with it and purchased it from Cradle in July 2025, but it's almost new, only tried on indoors.
It has clear, non-prescription lenses. It's a very stylish model, thank you.
This model, characterized by its brow-shaped browline, was born in the 1950s. It began when a thin-browed officer requested that it be made to give a sense of authority.
It then spread among the U.S. military and quickly gained popularity worldwide. It is also famous for being worn by Malcolm X, the leader of the Black liberation movement.
In Japan, it became a craze in the 1960s and has been loved for a long time since then. It reproduces the hinges and rivets for strength, which are rarely made today, and revives not only the manufacturing of the time in America, but also the culture itself.
