The Bodum Bistro cups and cork coasters are vintage ‘80’s. They were designed by Carsten Jorgensen, also known as as the “Picard Cup” due to its frequent use by Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek The Next Generation. They have a distinctive design made of borosilicate glass with removable handle. Captain Picard often drank “Tea, Earl Grey. Hot.” from this mug in the series. The original French press broke so this is a newer model Bodum Caffettiera Press personal size 12 oz. Come with box and instruction booklet. The cork coasters are clean on top but a little blackened on the bottom.
