From the Manufacturer The Bridgeport Fittings 382-DC 3/4-Inch Insulated Grounding Bushing has the locknut insulated installation. It is made from the die cast, ball burnished, mirror smooth zinc with a trade size of 3/4-Inch. Wire size is 14 AWG solid to 4 AWG stranded and it has a tin electroplated 6061-T6 aluminum alloy lug. Also, it has a diameter of 1-5/16 inches and a height of 7/16 inch. CSA approval UL 514-B. Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. was founded by Adelbert R. Auray and Neil G. Hayes in 1925 as The Bridgeport Switch Company. Initially, the product line consisted of electrical switches, bells, buzzers, wall switches and receptacles. The company shifted manufacturing direction in 1936, when it was decided to emphasize conduit and cable fittings for the electrical industry. Malleable iron, steel, aluminum and brass fittings replaced the original residential electrical components. Later, in 1948, the company changed its name to Bridgeport Fittings, Inc.
