This 90s-era Bantam Bag easily converts to a backpack. Lightweight leather. Front buckle with hidden magnetic snap closure. Side tabs with snap closures under flap. Inside zipper pocket. Carrying handle on top. Adjustable shoulder strap converts to double shoulder straps for a backpack look. Style #4152. From 1995 (catalog page from holiday 1995 :))
Callouts: there are some faint darkened smudges? water spots? near bottom and at corners. I would leave it as is, it's part of the charm. Tried to photograph it. It's super clean overall, excellent vintage condition!
