Superb Color Changing unheated Tanga Sapphire from Tanga,Tanzania.
Wow! What a wild gemstone this is! This gem has a lot going on in it. Super high luster and ribbon like inclusions that create an abundance of unique optical tones. This type of Sapphire is only found in Tanga Tanzania and boy does it ever have character. I really dont know what color to call this gem. I purchased as a color changing purple Sapphire. It is the closest Ive seen a Sapphire have a sort of Schiller effect similar to that of Oregon Sunstone. This is a truly special and rare gemstone from Mother Earth.
