It will come dis assembled , easy to assemble just look at the pictures on the listing and you should not have any problems putting it together,
Some dis coloring
The battery compartment might have a little tin foil , we found it helps with the contact since this is a older retired vanity.
Lights and sounds work. Leave the Oyster Shell in place or it will not work. Push the yellow star and Ariel will talk and light up. There is a on/off button in back.
