These ceramic cutters stay sharper longer and require less sharpening than standard steel blades. Low heat transfer and friction index keep blades running 50% cooler than steel. Ceramic blades use less coolant and clip faster with less downtime. Ceramic blades do NOT heat up, reducing the risk of friction burns. Coarse ceramic cutters can be used with #30, #15, #10, #9, #8.5, 7FC, #7. #5FC, #5, #4, #4FC and #3.75 sized blades. Medium cutters with #40 and #50 Please Note: Fine, Extra Fine, and Ultra Fine cutters cannot be used on a size 40 or 50 blade.
