Fabulous Vintage Rocking Chair
This rocking chair is absolutely gorgeous. The frame is made of dark wood, likely mahogany. There is a large intricately hand carved rose at the top. The seat, front and back of back rest are beautifully embroidered with a floral motif in lovely muted tones with a cream background. The fabric is bordered with brown and gold threading. There are two wooden spindles supporting the sides. This chair stands 30” high by 17” wide. It is very light, weighing approximately 13 lbs. It folds down with ease to only 36” so it can be easily transported or stored. Is small enough for a child, yet large enough for an adult. The bases are smooth and rock evenly.
