Strelitzia Nicolai (AKA: Giant white Bird of Paradise) has a large white flower in the shape of a bird. The giant Bird of Paradise has a tropical look to it and looks similar to a Banana plant, but it only produces flowers. The flowers produce a large amount of nectar which attracts birds. The nectar can be messy, therefore wouldn't advise planting this by a sidewalk. This plant can grow up to 30 feet tall and between 6 to 10 feet wide. Although it naturally grows very large, it can be maintained at a relatively smaller size by keeping it in a 15-gallon container at least.
