We're really enjoying our time on the Hayes Dominion brake and sooner or later we know we need to replace the pads. These Dominion A4 Brake Pads are the original equipment pads for the Dominions and have a steel backing plate and come in two compounds: sintered metallic and semi-metallic. Semi-metallic pads tend to have more modulation, are quieter, and are ideal for lighter riders and in dry conditions. For wet weather riding, metallic pads are the ones to choose. Metallic pads last longer and provide more consistent braking power on long descents, great for DH and enduro use and for larger, more aggressive riders.
