The perfect combination of two remarkable black gems - Black Star Diopside & Black Spinel. A magnificent example of the 4 ray white star for which the Indian Black Star Diopside is known. The deep black hue of the Spinel accentuates the asterism beautifully. The stunning 7.35 ct oval cabochon Diopside rests in 4 straight prongs with a border of 0.01 cts Diamond accents, which are flush set surrounded by petite pebbling. The border continues to the shoulders, which displays a magnificent grouping of marquise cut Black Spinel. The wheat vector open styling of the 2.16 cts Black Spinel share button prongs. The under gallery continues throughout the shoulders. Also known as the "Black Star of India", these lovely gems are mined in India. The Spinel was mined in Thailand.
