This Fluval FX4/FX6 Canister Filter Semi Annual Maintenance Kit Bundle includes five items: the Fluval FX Filter Replacement Bio-Foam Pads 2-Pack (Fluval A239); Fluval FX Filter Replacement Bio-Foam Block 3-Pack (Fluval A228); Fluval BioMax Media 500 grams (Fluval A1456); Fluval FX Filter Replacement Carbon Foam Pad 2-Pack (Fluval A249); and the Inland Seas Super Lube Silicone Lube, 1cc. To prevent sudden failure or reduced performance, Fluval suggests you use these products to do Semi Annual Maintenance on their FX Series Canister Filters. Unplug the filter prior to cleaning. Clean and lubricate the included Motor Seal Ring (with the included Inland Seas Super Lube Silicone Lube). Check and clean the impeller and intake Stem/Strainer. Check and clean the ribbed hosing. Replace the included Bio-Foam Pads (every six months). Replace half of the included Bio-Foam Blocks (every six months). Replace the included Carbon Foam (every month). Replace half the included BioMax and rinse the other half (every six months).
