Just need a laptop and put in the hard drive inside your laptop and it’s plug and play, already has windows 10 pre installed with the BMW ISTA d diagnostic program. Pre configured for KDCAN cable, if you’re using a different cable you will just have to switch the configs which is super easy. If you have no knowledge on this program please do research prior to purchasing as it is plug and play however sometimes you may need to tweak configs depending on what you’re using and trying to do. I just make sure the software works and is installed, everything else questions related to the program you will have to google as google has all answers you will ever have and I don’t have the time to answer them all respectfully. However, if when you install the drive in your laptop it doesn’t recognize the drive I have no issues helping out with that, but all items are checked before shipping.
