Description
Paccar changed the wiring used for their new engines in 2017-2018 Kenworth and Peterbuilt trucks. Use this feed-thru adapter to connect the BIT 9-pin ELD, or any other J1939-II compatible devices, into your Paccar diagnostic port. This small adapter may be mounted behind the kick panel to save space
This adapter has electrical continuity straight through. It provides the ability to use an older diagnostic cable with the black end to interface with a newer J1939 Type II green connector in the cab. This cable will not work for trucks with PACCAR MX engines.
This adapter will allow you to use your Interface with 9-Pin adapter to connect to trucks with the Deutsch green 9-pin Type II connector on newer heavy duty trucks: Works with Cummins INLINE 5, Cummins INLINE 6, Noregon, Dearborn, Bosch, and Nexiq data link adapters
