My daughter outgrew these skates, and we had to size up. They were sharpened not too long ago before she switched to her new states, so I'm not sure if immediate sharpening is necessary or not. They have a lot of life left as our skating season is short, and we only practiced around 2 hours a week. Only some Waltz jumps were learned with these skates. Regular wear/marks.
