This late 1890s carded photo captures a toddler girl raising her arm, taken by Elmer Willis Studio in Lawrence, KS. It would have been taken by Elmer Willis or his wife, Eliza Brigham DaLee at the Willis Studio located at 933 Massachusetts Avenue in Lawrence Kansas before 1903. Both were award winning photographers! Elmer died at age 30 and Eliza remarried in 1903. The studio was renamed Squires at that time - the name of her new husband.
The photograph is a single piece, in black and white. This photograph is perfect for collectors who are interested in the history of photography and the life of Elmer Willis.
