RARE and hard to find beautiful Lenox made in USA, 1789-1989 commemorative bowl.
This particular bowl came from an estate auction of the late Secretary of Treasury George Humphrey’s Collection.
It shows no wear, the gold is not worn, there are no chips, cracks, or crazing: it looks exquisite. There are four different building pictured on sides of bowl. The Capitol Washington D.C. 1829, Federal Hall New York City 1789 red building, The Capitol Washington D.C. Present, and Congress Hall Philadelphia 1790 red building. The bowl says it all on the bottom as you can see in pictures. All lettering on bottom is in 22 kt. gold and all the building pictures are trimmed in lots of gold and it is 4-1/2" high & 8" wide. This is a great collector's item and it is a rare and hard to find this particular “Bicentennial Bowl”
