Lixit® Retractable In-ground Cable Tie Out has a steel stake that mounts into the ground. It retracts and rotates 360 degrees allowing the pet freedom to roam with less chance of tangles. When not in use the cable stows neatly inside the housing. Tie out pulls out and medium dogs have 20 feet of cable length or 1256 sq. ft of area to roam. Cable has steel snap to attach to collar.

• Position your tie-out in an area that is relatively flat and free of obstacles that can entangle your dog. The same safety rules apply to this tie out as any other. Do not get the cable wrapped around any part of your legs or body. This tie-out is not a toy. We advise that children should be cautioned away from the tie out area. Responsible adults only should use it. When retracting the cable, keep your eyes away from the cable housing. Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair this tie-out. Do not open casing. Opening the case voids any warranty. Tie-out should be secured into earth by using the stake included. Ensure the tie-out is securely fixed before tying your dog. Do not use tie-out if your dog exceeds the specified weight. Only use this tie out for its intended purpose.
• Tips for securing stake into ground: Always insure that the stake is secure in the ground to the white line indicated on the stake. If the ground is too firm to manually secure press the stake into the ground as far as possible. Then use the tee included. The tee fits over the dome nut that secures the tie out to the stake. Hammer the stake into the ground until the white line.
