Luna Tattoo Concert Mahogany ukulele — a traditional take on a Hawaiian body ornamentation. This all-mahogany designed uke features a laser-etched Hawaiian tattoo design, with a flat top contour on the mahogany body and a C-profile mahogany set-neck with a smooth walnut fingerboard on top. This ukulele from Luna conjures the sounds of the islands, wherever in the world you may be.
The designs were monochromatic, tattooed in black against brown skin. The patterns and layout were strongly geometric and there were many shapes and symbols representing the natural island world: stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun, and birds. The fret markers are stylized sharks teeth. This uke boasts a clear, resonate sound both by virtue of its concert body and mahogany construction.
