Probably 1950s, about 10" diameter
In glass front wood case and with it's custom cherry display stand. No faults no damages and highly admired. This is an impossible amount of work to make. Highly skilled people, assumedly with japanese heritage , have hand crafted from cork wood an extremely miniature scene. I wouldn't think of ever removing it from it's case for any reason.. Notice in the detail photos the white painted birds in foreground. I can't imagine how they are made. Simply magical. Yes, after writing about it I'm wondering if I even want to sell it....Price is set to firm with ten likes.
