Second edition, fourth printing (eighth printing overall) hardcover copy of The Mahatma Letters to A. P. Sinnett from the Mahatmas M. & K. H. - Transcribed, Compiled & With an Introduction by A. Trevor Barker (Rider & Company, 1948). Personal letters between Sinnett and two Mahatmas of Tibet, the duo which apparently inspired Isis Unveiled & The Secret Doctrine by H. P. Blavatsky. A very hard to find book that conversationally explores religious thought, philosophy and a wide variety of spiritual and human experiences.

Jacket is price clipped and with sticker of new price adhered to top corner of front liner flap. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some mild rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Boards are straight and clean but with corners mildly bumped. Binding is beginning to loosen a bit, with a few instances where binding material is visible in gutter. All pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition. Shipped Media Mail.
