The 1-9/16" SDS Max Rotary Hammer (model - DH40MEY2) with its AC brushless motor, User Vibration Protection (UVP), and Reactive Force Control (RFC), is the perfect combination of performance, safety, and comfort. The newly redesigned dynamic vibration absorber and low vibration handle offer 13% less vibration than the previous model (DH40MEY). The AC brushless motor improves tool life and allows for the use of longer extension cords and gas powered generators. While the RFC technology cuts power to the motor in the event of a bound bit, the tool is also equipped with a mechanical slip clutch for an added layer of safety.
