Gorgeous LARGE Heavily Glazed wax relief floral motif Pottery KITTY by Mancioli 1960’s. It’s the classic ‘wax resist’ relief decor style Mancioli. Awesome! These are beautiful htf pieces BUT this one, in particular, is one of the most vivid & elaborately painted.
I’m lucky to have chatted w/ a known Mancioli family member on a fb Bitossi/Italian Pottery Groups, he commented how lovely the detail was on this one is, extra vivid greens, yellows & plentiful orange/red buds are more plentiful than most. Yay!
Also, Signature ‘Italy’ is on the exterior & seen while displayed behind front paw, a rarity considering most are on the bottom or inside.
