You are considering a wonderful and powerful ORIGINAL portrait painting in oil on board of a Native-American warrior {likely of the Nez Perce people) titled Sandis Nez or Eyes That Have Seen Forever by Carolyn O’Neill {American, 20th century) and dated 1984. The verso of the painting notes that O’Neill was from Lingle, Wyoming, and a member of the Southeast Wyoming Art Association. The painting is in very nice condition with no faults (needs a good dusting) and is on a 14” by 18” board. The painting is beautifully framed in a well-matched frame of wood with reddish trim and linen border. This frame measures 25” by 21” and is in very nice condition too.
