Always start your retinol journey LOW AND SLOW. Because it is so powerful, our skin finds it hard to adjust to it at first. A pea sized amount is plenty – using once/twice weekly working upto everyday as tolerated. The following rule can be advised – for the first month, use twice weekly. Second month, 3 times weekly. Third month, 4 times weekly and so on. AGAIN, its is vital that users are applying SPF throughout their retinol journey to limit the risk of sun exposure and irritation.
