This bowl is from the artist Nils Obel collection. This collection is in the Royal Copenhagen Gallery. His collection was commissioned by the Gallery. Obel was born in Denmark, studied in Paris, and died in Maine. This bowl has been used ONLY as DECORATION (Rarely ever seen; didn't even know, it was still in my parent's house). I'm sure one of my Mom's cousins sent it to her from their home in Denmark I know that the quality design of "people" of which Obel is known for, as well as; his drawings of Fish, not only made him reknown in Europe; but also; here in the states.This is a numbered piece! It is 8 inches wide X 4 inches tall. Please see the photos.
