Nitto P-02 Double Coated Kraft Paper Tape is a highly versatile double-sided flatback paper tape that boasts super-aggressive adhesion. It is designed for a variety of splicing, mounting, holding, laminating and fastening applications. Nitto Denko P-02 is ideal for when tape conformability and strength are vital. It can be used with glass or metal surfaces. It is recommended for holding metal in place during machining operations (provides a secure, movement-free hold-down); for anchoring metal plates, type, cuts and patches to printing forms; and for mounting small fixtures, display items and moldings. Nitto P-02 (used to be referred to as Permacel P-02) can be die-cut or shear-cut to any size or shape. It is coated on both sides with an aggressive, synthetic rubber/resin adhesive that makes it ideal for splicing medium-to-heavyweight paper stocks. It provides high shear strength, high initial tack and is solvent resistant (will not dissolve when exposed for limited periods to solvents such as MEK, carbon tetrachloride, gasoline or alcohol).
