For this reason, our leather watch straps are produced using the traditional Swiss "Vollumbugg" process (Art Manuel) in Germany. This extraordinary handicraft involves a complex process of binding five layers of different high-quality materials together by hand in order to ensure the high quality and longevity of our watch straps. For this, we only use Italian leather that has been vegetable tanned and is thus particularly environmentally friendly and, above all, non-allergenic. To get to the finished leather watch strap using the "Vollumbugg" process requires about 175 work steps - that is indeed the "Made in (Northern-) Germany" quality.
