Extremely rare Vintage, Unused, Factory Fresh, with papers and box Roberge Lady Orbite rolling Ball Point Pen. White enamel, palladium plated. Serial numbered. Exquisite All Swiss Made. Roberge was a division of Mouawad Jewels, a four generation Middle East Jewelry Company that is considered the Cartier of The Middle East. Based in Beirut, Lebanon in 1908, after learning about Jewelry in New York and Mexico City, the Mouawad family has spread out around the world, with particular fame in The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia and Geneva, Switzerland. These pens were made in small numbers in the 1990’s, along with a beautiful watch line, also named Roberge, for the son of David Roberge, who, Robert, expanded the family’s base to Switzerland. Now his sons (and their young sons) run the enterprise. Enormous diamond pieces for royalty and celebrities are the specialty of Roberge/Mouawad today. This Lady Orbite is 4 3/8” long, comes in snakeskin and leather pouch, Roberge hallmarks all over this pen.
