Rowe Pottery 7" Salt Glaze Pitcher w Handle & Berry Basket Pattern 2020 Date Stamped Cambridge WI, a pottery company started by Jim Rowe. RPW makes beautiful, historical salt glazed pottery. This is heirloom pottery.
A mid-size pitcher that is a wonderful example of Rowe’s salt glazed pottery. It features a detailed berry basket design. The artwork uses cobalt blue & some green hand-painted artwork distinctive to this line of pottery. The grey pottery is smooth & speckled with a salt glaze finish that is a darker shade on the inside. it’s stamped with Rowe Pottery, Cambridge, WI, date 2020, 4.5 years, and QT.
There are no chips or cracks. The salt glaze is slightly textured resulting in a mottled surface typical imperfections, making it all the more interesting.
Rowe Pottery began in Cambridge, Wisconsin, in 1975, and is still producing handcrafted pottery today. Pieces are sought after by collectors.
