The sumptuous design is enhanced by the sophisticated shape, graceful floral ornamentation, rich feminine colors, and a style and elegance that are uniquely English. Standing 10 inches high, this 8-cup carafe from Royal Albert beautifully complements the entire line of Old Country Roses tableware pieces. Equally suitable for keeping hot and cold liquids at the desired temperature, the glass thermal liner is encased in a durable plastic outer shell. Covered in clusters of roses in shades of pink and golden yellow, the white background is also enhanced with bands of lime green trimming the bottom and top of the carafe. A wide handle aids in pouring, while the flat lid can easily be opened slightly to dispense liquid without having to fully remove the cap. Royal Albert recommends not placing the carafe in the dishwasher, or immersing it in water. When filling the vessel with ice, be sure to fill the container with liquid first, and do not fill with dry ice, carbonated beverages, mineral water, or fruit juice.
