The Shimano GE900 is a premium clipless mountain bike shoe with a midfoot SPD placement for optimal bike control and an integrated neoprene sock liner to help keep dirt and debris out of our shoe. A reinforced toe cap protects against rock strikes, and a carbon fiber reinforced EVA midsole absorbs impacts, provides stiffness for power transfer, and combines with Shimano's TORBAL 2.0 torsional midsole for excellent edge flexibility when cornering. A BOA dial closure system makes for an effortless and secure closure, and a hook-and-loop strap keeps our heels from rising when walking. Shimano's Ultread GE rubber compound provides exceptional grip when connected to the pedals and has a dedicated hiking tread on the toe and heel for when we have to hike-a-bike.
