(Signed) Beginning of Memory Hiroshi Sugimoto

In a word, it was breathtaking, simply wonderful. I was happy to learn more about Mr. Sugimoto, whom I didn't know much about before, through his voice and the atmosphere he creates. Watching this work, I somehow felt that "even if it's not art, even if it's your own trauma, whatever it is, the expansion of the unknown isn't a source of worry or despair, but romance." I thought that the people who use invisible spaces and pursue them are true artists. In Sugimoto's case, as the title suggests, it's "Memories of the Beginning." Is it about himself, his beloved camera, or perhaps civilization? I think this is a video work that depicts one person who pours their life into everything and creates works like an adventure. It was wonderful.
