A part of the American Artists Series produced by the Whitney Museum of American Art and Macmillan. Very rare art book with several b&w plates and biographical scratch of the artist. Signed and inscribed by McFee on front endpaper. Heavily worn jacket protected in (removable) archival sleeve. Liquid damage causing staining and waviness to jacket. Tears, creasing and chipping around edges. Some staining to boards and with corners bumped. A few instances of split binding. Some tanning to pages and faint waviness to outer edges.
