Beautiful and gently used silverbelly open road. This hat was a true joy to own and wear. Many compliments were given to this gem.
The 6X texture and body is much better than the cheaper royal deluxe version. Sweatband is still fresh and supple.
I put in a touch of a mule kick, (looks bigger in the photos than in person) and I feel it sets this hat apart in a crowd. The Stetson felt firms up nicely but is very easy to shape and manipulate if you have some patience and a steaming kettle.
Keep or remove the mule kick, shape the brim to match your face…. Put your own touch on this classic!
